| Quick Bits: Pattinson, Stewart and Taylor at the 'New Moon' TV press day |

Summit Entertainment ran a wonderfully smooth TV press day today for "The Twilight Saga: New Moon." The talent seemed calm and carefree even after a full day of TV interviews in rooms that can get as warm as a sauna because of those pesky hot nights. Video interviews of all the talent should begin being posted tomorrow evening and Monday, but in the meantime, here are some quick impressions and recollections from a busy few hours with the "New Moon" crew.
- Robert Pattinson was sipping tea while we spoke. He still insists he's floored by how bit the "Twilight" franchise has become. He also doesn't expect to take a break from shooting films until after "Breaking Dawn." He seemed to assume "Dawn" would occur after he finished "Bel Ami" and "Unbound Captives."
- Having had a strange one on one print interview with Kristen Stewart last year, it was stunning to see how much she has grown in 12 months. Calm, confident and still as sharp as a tack. When asked whether she'd want to do a comedy next after such a busy year, she said she expects to keep taking challenging roles. If the role doesn't speak to her, she's not interested.
- Walked in on Taylor Lautner having one of his many protein shakes of the day. Lautner said it was more difficult to keep the muscle on for "Eclipse" and he wants to make sure he doesn't have to go through such extremes for the next installment. He also said he's going to take a break after promoting "New Moon," but expects to have a project he's "very excited about" to announce soon. He also looked incredibly dapper in a black tie and white shirt.
- Director Chris Weitz went into depth about the CG animation that was required in such a short production time. It just wasn't the wolves, even the sparkle effect for Edward is not something you can do quickly. He discussed why what is essentially the "Empire Strikes Back" of the book series appealed to him, say rather than "Eclipse" and he's looking forward to sleeping for a month after the premiere. He'll then tackle a lower budget drama "The Gardner" which he will be both English and Spanish language.
- The Wolfpack crew were an expected rowdy bunch. A few of them had their shoes and socks off (it's unclear why) and they said they knew exactly what they were getting into when they signed on for the roles. So, being shirtless for most of their scenes in the cold rain was completely expected. The quartet also said they did less stunt work in "Eclipse" than in "New Moon," but hinted that Chaske Spencer (Sam Uley) has a big fight in the third installment.
- The Cullens admitted they watched the other vampire franchises "True Blood" (Elizabeth Reaser loves it) and wished they could change their hair styles like those vampires can. It appears being eternal has its aesthetic disadvantages.
- The Volturi honestly had the least to say and that might be because they aren't in the movie as much. Michael Sheen discussed his inspiration for Aro -- mostly the book -- and Dakota Fanning talked about how fun it was to shoot in the Italy.
And that's the best this reporter can recall from the busy day at this time, but all of the talent had a lot more to say. source

| Robert Pattinson New Moon Interview |
[08 Nov 2009|11:09am] |

MoviesOnline sat down with Robert Pattinson to talk about his new movie, “The Twilight Saga: New Moon,” the second chapter in Stephenie Meyer’s phenomenally successful series. In “New Moon,” the romance between mortal and vampire soars to a new level as Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) tests fate for a glimpse of her vampire love, Edward Cullen (Pattinson). As she plumbs deep into the mysteries of the supernatural world that she yearns to become part of, she discovers a pair of ancient secrets that put her at more peril than ever before.
Just after Bella's ill-fated 18th birthday party, Edward decides to leave her behind in an effort to protect her. As the heartbroken Bella sleepwalks through her senior year of high school, numb and alone, she discovers she can summon Edward's image whenever she puts herself in jeopardy. Her desire to be with him at any cost leads her to take greater and greater risks.
With the help of her childhood friend Jacob Black (Taylor Lautner), who is a member of the mysterious Quileute tribe, Bella refurbishes an old motorbike to carry her on her adventures. Bella's frozen heart is gradually thawed by her budding relationship with Jacob, who has a supernatural secret of his own. Eventually, Bella learns the secret of the Quileutes and Edward's true motivation for leaving her.
With more of the passion, action and suspense that made Twilight a smash hit, “The Twilight Saga: New Moon” is a spellbinding follow-up to the international box office phenomenon. Here’s what Rob had to tell us about:
Q: What were your thoughts while you were filming that scene in Italy, where Edward reveals himself in the sunlight?
Rob: I just came to a realization about that scene. It was one of the closest moments I really felt to people’s emotional attachment to the character because there were so many extras there who were just Twilight fans, who had flown in to be in the town square. Just taking that one step into the light, it’s been the one moment, since the first Comic-Con, where I’ve felt the whole weight of anticipation and responsibility to all the people who are so obsessed with the stories. It was a good moment. It was very nerve-wracking, but I probably felt the most in character that I’ve ever felt, throughout the wholeseries, at that moment. Q: Can you talk about working with Chris Weitz and how the syllabus he gave the cast helped you?
Rob: I’ve never had that, from any director. It was 40 or 50 pages long, in addition to a bunch of letters and emails, trying to show that he was on the same page as us and was completely with us, in making the film. And, he didn’t falter from that attitude, throughout the whole movie. It probably sounds ridiculous how much praise he gets. I was just with him and his wife in Japan, and she was even kind of sick of it. But, he is like a saint. He’s one of the best people I’ve ever met, let alone directors. In a lot of ways, it shows in the movie. It’s got a lot of heart, especially for a sequel in a franchise. He’s just a great person to work with.

| Some info about the Jimmy Kimmel Interview |
[08 Nov 2009|11:02am] |
From kstewartfans;
Someone from ONTD were at the filming of Kimmel's show.
Here's what she had to say:
* They had a Q&A for the second portion of the show and just some of the questions people asked were really stupid. Actually, most of them were pretty stupid.
*The interview was entertaining. Jimmy interviewed them first and there was a Q&A after which had it's WTF moments, but was still fun for the most part.
*Questions that were asked: is Rob's misbuttoning on purpose or a fashion statement (their faces for this were priceless), what was Kristen's favorite book, someone asked for Taylor's shirt, someone asked Kristen if she had gotten a flu shot which freaked her out because apparently she got one the day before... Someone asked when was the last time Rob cried and why, which seemed like a stupid question but his answer made it totally worth it.

| Sunroom! |
[07 Nov 2009|05:48pm] |
I'm moving in a few weeks into an apartment and my room won't be a real bedroom, but a sunroom. Not an outdoor one or anything, but two walls are ALL windows, one wall is a window and a door to the outside, and the other wall is just french doors. Does anyone have any pictures of sunrooms decorated as a bedroom?
And also, I found beautiful damask printed wallpaper I really, really love. Has anyone ever put busy wallpaper around windows or doors? I was thinking I could put it around the french doors, but I'm worried it would look silly. Any opinions or pictures?
Thanks!
